A 45-year-old Thai politician, Prapaporn Choeiwadkoh, was caught having an affair with her 24-year-old adopted son, who is a monk. Prapaporn’s husband caught the two in bed together.

The drama unfolded when Prapaporn’s husband, known as Ti, drove for five hours suspecting something fishy, the South China Morning Post reported. He caught his wife and adopted son, Phra Maha, in bed.

Prapaporn and Ti adopted Phra from a temple last year after the former claimed she felt sorry for Phra. But now, Ti is pointing fingers at the monk, accusing him of seducing his wife. Phra is on the run.

Ti caught the affair on camera.

When Ti confronted his wife, he asked, “Are you two happy?”

Paraporn tried to defend herself, saying they were just talking, not doing anything more.

Even Phra denied any wrongdoing, claiming they were just going to shower after he sought Prapaporn’s help with his personal issues.

Ti was furious over the affair and felt betrayed by his wife.

“I was furious when I found them together. I felt so betrayed. I had bought her gold and given her many gifts,” Ti was quoted as saying by South China Morning Post.

Prapaporn, aka “Madam Ple,” is quite the figure in Sukhothai, Thailand. She’s a politician and heads a local chamber of commerce.

After the affair came to light, her party suspended her, pending an investigation into the matter.

The scandalous affair set the social media buzzing, with some netizens claiming that the plot was too crazy even for a TV show.

One social media user said, “This news is explosive, with too many elements. It sounds like pure fiction. The world of the wealthy is indeed fascinating and chaotic.”

Another person wrote: “A 64-year-old husband, a 45-year-old wife, and a 24-year-old adopted son who is a monk? This is such a mess. It sounds more like keeping a boy-toy rather than adoption. Even dramas don’t dare to script this.”
