Omaha Tornado Outbreak: Multiple Twisters Spotted In Nebraska City | VIDEOS – Times Now

Multiple tornadoes were spotted in Omaha, Nebraska and its surrounding areas – Lincoln, Waverly and Waterloo – on Friday. The National Weather Service Issued a tornado emergency for these areas as the twister caused damage in its pathway. Social media users, mostly locals and storm chasers, posted videos of these tornadoes hitting ground.

Locals posted about the tornadoes, warning other residents. “Right in the middle of 3 tornados touching down in the Omaha/Greater Omaha area. Seeing a lot of damage to homes right now,” one person said on X, platform formerly known as Twitter.

“More tornadoes spotted! 🚨🚨 Another LARGE tornado has been spotted! Take cover now, this one is east of Omaha,” another one added.

“Multiple tornadoes are on the ground in Nebraska. The debris signatures are awful. I worry what’s happening on the ground there. Check on your friends and family in the Omaha and Lincoln area!” a third person tweeted.

Meanwhile, a tornado warning has been issued for multiple Nebraska counties. It will remain in effect until 4:15 PM local time for the following counties: Antelope, Boone, Butler, Cass, Douglas, Gage, Jefferson, Madison, Platte, Saline, Sarpy, Saunders and Seward.

As many as ’30-40 houses gone’ following tornado that hit the suburbs of Omaha, Nebraska, according to local scanner account. Reports of damage and people trapped in buildings have emerged. Authories are yet to confirm the numbers.
