Park unveiled the twisted ideology behind this practice, revealing that Kim Jong-Il, Kim Jong-un’s father, believed that intimacy with young girls would grant him immortality. He died at 70.

This macabre tradition traces back to the 1970s when Kim Jong-Il initiated the concept to curry favour with his father, Kim Il-Sung, the founding leader of North Korea. “He thought, ‘If I pick some pretty girls and place them where my father Kim Il-Sung stays, he might find that very pleasurable,'” Park elucidated.

Over the decades, the ‘Pleasure Squad’ evolved to suit the preferences of each Kim leader. Kim Il-Sung favoured traditional beauty, while Kim Jong-Il preferred taller, slender women. Park even hinted at the intriguing possibility that Kim Jong-un’s wife might have emerged from this disturbing cohort.

The so-called ‘pleasure squad’ is compartmentalized into distinct groups, with one faction specialising in massages, another in entertainment performances, and a third tasked with the most disturbing duties—pleasing Kim Jong-un and his associates intimately.
