Google is all set to announce its affordable Pixel smartphone — Pixel 8a — at the upcoming Google I/O next month. Ahead of the official announcement, several leaks and rumours about the upcoming smartphone have surfaced, revealing key features, design, etc of the phone. The most recent leak comes in the form of promotional material which reveals the Google AI features that Pixel 8a will offer.
Android Headlines has reported that Google is teasing the Pixel 8a as an “AI-mazing” camera phone and has teased a couple of AI-powered camera and photo features that the phone will come equipped with.
This includes Audio Magic Eraser, Night Sight and Best Take. Now, all three features have been there in Pixel phones for a while. Having said that, the Audio Magic Eraser is kind of new and Pixel 8 has received it recently.
Additionally, Google is also touring several other AI features that the phone will offer. For instance, it will come with Call Assist that gives, Circle to Search and email summary features.
Hardware information that has leaked till date
The report also mentions that the Pixel 8a smartphone will run a Tensor G3 processor, the same chip that powers the Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 8 smartphones. Apart from that, the phone is also expected to come with fast charging support of up to 30W.
Additionally, the phone is expected to come with IP67 rating and several security features like the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phones.
