Gigabyte’s Aorus CO49DQ is a 49-inch curved QD-OLED gaming monitor that uses AI-based presets to prevent pixel burn-in problems with minimal interference

Gigabyte has unveiled its latest gaming monitor, the Aorus CO49DQ, a 49-inch curved QD-OLED gaming monitor. Set to hit the shelves on April 30, it will be available for purchase through offline and online channels across India at a price of Rs 1,29,000.

Supriya Gawde Mankame, Assistant General Manager of GIGABYTE India, expressed the company’s excitement about launching the AORUS CO49DQ QD-OLED monitor in the Indian market. She highlighted its design catering to gamers, creators, and professionals, offering ample screen space for their tasks.

The monitor features a curved (1800R radius) 49-inch display with a resolution of 5120 X 1440p (DQHD) and a 32:9 aspect ratio, akin to having two 27-inch 16:9 aspect ratio monitors side-by-side. It boasts a 10-bit QD-OLED panel covering 99 per cent of the DCI-P3 color space and supports up to a 144Hz refresh rate.

The Aorus CO49DQ is equipped with integrated speakers, each with a power output of five watts, and comes with a three-year warranty, including coverage for panel burn-in issues. It integrates OLED Care technology, which uses AI-based presets to prevent pixel burn-in problems with minimal interference.

For users who prefer switching between multiple devices using a single mouse and keyboard, the monitor offers a KVM switch. It also supports Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-By-Picture (PbP) modes.

With two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort, the monitor includes an integrated 72W AC power input, eliminating the need for an external power supply.
